From the youngest nursery class to CM2, a French curriculum and active learning help children learn with confidence.

First discoveries
Nursery
Nursery welcomes children from age 2. It is organised by age into a toddler class and three sections.

- 01Toddler classAge 2The toddler class has its own pace so two-year-olds can start school in the best possible conditions.
- 02Petite section (PS)Age 3The aim is to help children socialise, learn group life and understand school rules.
- 03Moyenne section (MS)Age 4Children take more interest in books, follow a story and its order, and gain better control of their movements.
- 04Grande section (GS)Age 5Children want more independence. Helping them manage on their own builds lasting confidence.
- 01CPAge 6CP opens the core learning cycle: reading, writing, counting and respect for others come first.
- 02CE1Age 7Children strengthen what they know and learn to find the key ideas of a text and organise their thoughts.
- 03CE2Age 8CE2 closes the core learning cycle. Language skills are central.
- 04CM1Age 9First year of the consolidation cycle, leading children to secondary school.
- 05CM2Ages 10 – 12CM2 prepares for secondary school: thinking for oneself, justifying a point of view and structuring reasoning, orally then in writing.
Foundations for the future
Primary
Children start primary school at six and leave it for secondary school. It builds the fundamentals: reading, writing and counting.

Active learning
Learning by doing
Active learning is experiential learning. Pupils are placed in real or imaginary situations to use their skills and develop them during lessons.
Beyond books
Beyond books and exercise books, children build skills through play. That is why we offer extracurricular activities, events, play sessions for the youngest and school celebrations.

From what age can I enroll my child?
La Providence welcomes children from age 2 in the toddler class. Please contact the school office to confirm what is possible for your child.
How many pupils per class?
Class size is one of the four pillars of our teaching. The maximum is 18 pupils, so teachers can apply the school’s methods with a small group.

Yes. A canteen and canteen assistant support children at mealtimes. Menus are prepared mostly with organic products, following dietary recommendations for school-age children.
Can we enroll during the school year?
Yes. Enrollment files for nursery and primary are available at the school office.
Which documents are required?
Please come to the school office. The team will tell you exactly which documents are needed for enrollment.
